With more than 60 franchise partners across the globe, Mothercare needed a back-end warehouse system that could integrate easily with Magento and could be rolled out across their other stores without the needed for any technical infrastructure changes or investment.
THE FULFILMENT CHALLENGE
Mothercare Ireland were the first franchise to go live with the Peoplevox warehouse management system. Before becoming a client, their inventory took 24 hours to be updated online after goods in had been received. This led to a number of missed sales opportunities during the time in which stock was in the warehouse but not available for customers to buy.
With our off-the-shelf integration to Magento, the Peoplevox solution was ready for Mothercare Ireland to implement immediately. With barcode scanning at goods in, they were finally able to have 100% accurate stock figures listed live on the website as soon as the items had been received. Order picking accuracy improved to 99.99% and, as a result, Mothercare Ireland were able to continue delivering the same excellent customer service to their customers, with improved order fulfilment and back-end processes.
